A1 Computer Solutions provide installation, maintenance, optimisation, and upgrade services for many types of computer and IT equipment.

Below is a description of our services and fees.  We strongly recommend discussing your requirements in detail with us, so that we may provide the most suitable and cost effective service.

 Computer Installations and Repairs


How do I get Computer or IT equipment installed or repaired?

Our service procedure follows these steps:-

1. Contact us via Telephone or Email or complete our Service Request Form.   Describe your installation requirements (specifications), or the nature of the problem as thoroughly as possible.

2. We will give you an estimate of the timescale involved - please remember that some IT equipment may take longer than others to be available - if your request is very urgent please make this clear.  A date will be scheduled for the service.

4. The Technician will proceed with the installation or servicing on the date scheduled.

5. Once the installation or servicing has been completed, you will be given an opportunity to check out that the IT equipment it is fully operational to your satisfaction.   You will then be billed and pay for the service.

What costs are involved?

A1 Computer Solutions provides Computer Installation and Maintenance services to Individuals and Companies.   Our fees are more expensive if you do not have a Maintenance Contract with us.   Payment for services rendered are required on the same day as the service is supplied, if you don't have a Maintenance Contract.

Fees (Scheduled Call Outs NOT under a Maintenance Contract)

Technician's time is charged at €95 per hour for scheduled call-out installation or maintenance work, which is not covered by a maintenance contract.   A realistic estimate of the duration of the visit and the work to be completed will be provided in advance.  If additional time is required to complete the work (due to unforeseen circumstances), immediate advice will be given of new estimate of time required.  Details of what work will be completed and the estimate of time required will be e-mailed in advance, for your approval.   Payment for this work is required on the same day as the work is completed.

Fees (Scheduled Maintenance Checks under a Maintenance Contract)

Technician's time is charged at €67 per hour for scheduled contract maintenance work.  Details of the duration and frequency of maintenance checks will be found in the agreed Maintenance Contract.      Payment for scheduled maintenance contract work is required before commencement of the period of maintenance.

Fees (Un-Scheduled Call-Outs under a Maintenance Contract)

  1. Normal Call Out (response within 48 hours): €160 per visit (minimum 2 hours charge),  €80 per hour thereafter.
  2. Emergency Call Out (response within 24 hours): €190 per visit (minimum 2 hours charge),  €95 per hour thereafter

Note: For extreme emergencies, every effort will be made to provide a same-day solution.

Payment for un-scheduled call-outs under a maintenance contract work is required within 30 days of Invoice.

What guarantees do I have?

For all repairs we give a 30 day warranty on the work carried out.  If in the very unlikely event that within the 30 day period, the original fault replicates itself, you may arrange for the work to be redone, free of charge.

For the spares, we offer many types of warranty - these will be detailed with any quotation. We use refurbished, new and second hand parts.  In the case of new parts they have a full manufactures warranty (usually 1 - 3 years) for cheaper reconditioned parts we give these a 3, 6 or 9 month warranty.
